The hugely successful ‘SW7s Development Sessions’ for under 15s/16s with England 7s star Dan Norton and former England 7s coach Russell Earnshaw, has now advanced into becoming the South West 7s Development Cup. The first-ever development dedicated 7s tournament, focusing on club sides in the U15s and U16s age groups. SW7s alongside 7 Bamboos Rugby are offering a unique platform for club development players to experience 7s at a top level, hosted by some of the UK’s leading development coaches and to be refereed by officials of the Dubai 7s. These development players are the future of the game and they deserve as much experience as possible. As the sport grows from strength to strength in the UK and across the world, 7s has a massive future and we are making Bristol's mark in that future! Saturday 3rd promises a full on schedule of Mens and Women's Rugby 7s, covering all levels from the solid SW7s Elite Cup to the very popular SW7s Social! Not to mention our new and improved SW7s Dodgeball. Plus all the best local food traders, a thumping main stage, our thirst quenching festival bar and bucket loads of extras! The Festival comes into its own on Saturday Night! We have one of the best main stage line ups forming to-date, and we can't wait to show you... Its going to off! A big decision to make but we hope teams, spectators and friends alike will follow us on this new adventure! 'With a new venue comes huge opportunities'. We can not wait to work with the fantastic team at Cleve RFC, with a strong yearly calendar of festivals and events the club has a huge amount to offer.... And not just its plentiful pitch space.
